CONCERTS

Andrew and Cecily met at the Royal Northern College of Music, and since have found themselves in great demand as concert performers, giving concerts as The Cellists since 2011.  They gave a concert as part of the “Little Bite Music” series in the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. They have also performed Sollima’s Violoncelles Vibrez! in Manchester Cathedral with the Spike Collective, a cello octet of which they are founding members.  The Cellists also regularly appear in Brockholes, The Lake District Visitor Centre, giving concerts as part of their Music & Culture series, as well as other venues across the North West of England.  Collectively, Andrew and Cecily have performed in the Albert Hall (London), St Martin in the Fields (London), the National Concert Hall (Dublin), the Ulster Hall (Belfast) and St Mary’s Cathedral (Edinburgh).

They have a wide range of repertoire for cello duo and voice and cello.  With everything from Somis to Sinatra, Mozart to Massenet, their aim is to ensure that there is something to appeal to everyone.  If you are interested in booking The Cellists to play at a concert, or you would like more details, please feel free to initiate contact through the “Contact” page.
